Have I mentioned that my homie (who is also my lady’s cuz) also draws comics? and that he is really especially dope at it?!?
I drew four pages of stuff for Catch-Up Issue 3, this being the first…
Catch-Up is a journal of comics and literature published by Gold County Paper Mill. The comics portions are edited by Mark P. Hensel/William Cardini, Josh Burggraf, and PB Kain. More info and pre-order here: http://catch-up.us/issues/

So HUMANOIDS had this contest running to win a copy of their deluxe slipcase edition of Alejandro Jodorowsky and Juan Gimenez’s METABARONS comic. You had to either draw or write something that showed how the story inspired you and yadda yadda. I did a one page comic entry, here’s the image from the last panel. This is a Metabaron-type character of my own creation - although borrowing heavily from Gimenez’s designs.
I’ll post the whole thing sometime soon.
So on some last-minute surprise burst of inspiration type ish, I cooked up a little submission for Josh Bayer’s upcoming mag SUSPECT DEVICE 2.
